Welcome to the April edition of the myprosperity newsletter. Our business continues to move forward on the people and partner front. We are now at 32 staff, and as I mentioned on Tuesday’s webinar, we are about to embark on a bit of a growth spurt with an estimated 16 new hires planned for the coming months.

Our partner numbers now exceed 530 with 23,000 active subscribers. Importantly, the myprosperity platform continues to gain traction: there are more than $120m worth of wealth items (assets & liabilities) being added each day. Overall we are now tracking in excess of 50,000 credit card and bank accounts, 26,000 properties and 13,000 superannuation accounts. Those are some big numbers!

Product Update

April has also been a big month for myprosperity on the product front.

Partner Dashboard

Many of you will hopefully have had a chance to play around with the new partner dashboard, which we launched mid-April. Feedback has been extremely positive.

This new dashboard provides advisers with a snapshot of what is happening across their client base, including valuable insights into the level of engagement, net worth, and financial aspirations of their clients on myprosperity. This new feature also ushered in a new look and feel, which we have been working on for some months and plan to roll out to other parts of the myprosperity platform, including the client wealth portal. We know that the user experience is critical for adoption of technology and we will continue to make the investments needed to position myprosperity as a world-class application.

Mobile App Enhancements

On the mobile front, we launched a vehicle logbook tool – something many of you have been asking for. I also announced the upcoming release of an app for kids, which will allow children of advised clients to view their bank balances and transactions, as well as create goals and actions. We are big proponents of financial literacy and this is one of the many steps we are taking to help support it. The kids app will also be a great feature for advisers when engaging with clients who have children or grandchildren.

Form Fill & Integrations

The other big news was the fact that we are ready to roll with form fill technology! Partners can now automate the fact find process through the platform. Check out the demo in the webinar recording and email your Enablement Manager to get started.

As for integrations, we released this week a data feed for Praemium, with IOOF feeds coming very soon These are key platforms that many of our partners have been asking about and we are pleased to deliver. Both sets of feeds will be available via the free Starter subscription, which offers tremendous value to advisers who can give clients access to this critical source of data at no extra cost.

As we move into May, there is a lot happening in the way of events and various opportunities to come and chat about what we are up to. Our new Events page breaks it down.

Breakfast with myprosperity: Macquarie Edition

We’re co-hosting a series of events with Eli Glotzer, Head of Accounting and Financial Services with Macquarie to discuss their upcoming benchmarking report for the accounting and financial advice industry, due to be released mid-May. Eli and I talk about the changes we are seeing in the advice industry, and how technology like myprosperity can help advisers make a shift to a truly client-centric approach. At a time when acting in the best interests of customers has never received so much attention and scrutiny, this session provides valuable insights as to where the industry is heading and how to prepare for the changes.

There are still a few sessions to go; if you’d like to attend, you can register for free here.

Myprosperity 2018 Roadshow: Connected Innovation

Our annual roadshow is back, and bigger than ever. Kicking off in Adelaide on the 30th of May, the theme this year will be “Connected Innovation”. As the name suggests, we are going beyond what myprosperity offers as a platform to showcase some of the amazing partnerships we’ve developed to help advisers build lifelong engagement with their clients – from buying their first property to planning their estate.

I hope you will be able to join us. Tickets are free and available now!

My next update will be on May 29th, right before the roadshow. I hope you have a fantastic May and I look forward to hopefully catching up with most of you these next few weeks.
